Data analysis is a part of every testing program; vibration signals are always processed and analyzed to obtain the relevant results from the test. Analysis can also be independent of an experimental test. An analysis can be done to predict dynamic responses like, for example, using finite elements for time history or spectral analysis. Analytical methods can also be improved upon by updating techniques, where data from the real system is used to validate the analytical model.
The partners of TVP have an extensive history with analysis, including finite element and custom programming applications. The types of analysis include static and dynamic, response spectrum, time history, signal analysis, processing, filtering, integration, conversion, and damage identification analysis, among others.
