Facility features: The Earthquake Engineering Research Facility has three earthquake simulators, including a three-axis shaking table with a capacity of about 30 tonnes and a single-axis shaking table with a load capacity of 100 tonnes. The facility, with its 10m high ceiling and overhead crane, is capable of even the most large-scale testing. The EERF also features a state-of-the-art multimedia and communications command-center, providing researchers with valuable long-distance conferencing and connectivity abilities.
