Purpose of Test: The Brimacombe Building, or the Advanced Material and Process Engineering Laboratory (AMPEL), study aimed to thoroughly examine the floor vibration behaviour of the laboratory building, located on the campus of the University of British Columbia. The building is a multi-disciplinary facility, intended to be a high performance structure suitable for vibration sensitive research.
